Jonas, Barbara R.  - of Largo, Florida died January 11, 2009 under the care of Suncoast Hospice. She was a member of the Christ the King Lutheran Church and past Church Secretary. also a member of the Suncoast Society of Scribes. She served as Belleair Bluff City Commissioner 1979-1991. She also was a past member of the Pinellas County Republican Committee and the Eagle Forum. Survived by her husband, William (Bill) Jonas; a sister, Sharon (Paul) Townend; a niece, Robyn (Steve) Dague; a great-niece, Jamie Dague and great-nephew, Daniel Dagueall of Maryland and a brother-In-law, Robert Lanthier. She was Pre-deceased by her sister, Fern Lanthier.
