Obituary

Grillos, Annajoan Anita - 73 of Largo, Florida passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was a graduate of NY University, traveled through Europe on a Fulbright Scholarship, and obtained her master’s degree from UCLA. She was an ESL educator who spoke multiple languages and loved to discuss the great works of literature and art. Anita will be remembered for her deep love of literature, languages, the arts, traveling and her fierce competitive passion for bingo. (Fancy Feast for Lexi!) Her generous, giving nature and deep friendship will be missed by all. She was a loving mother and sister who is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Andreanne and Tommy Simon of Orlando, Florida, by her son Christopher Van Baelen of Medellin Colombia, and by her brother G. Michael Grillos of Brooklyn, New York.
